Depending on your current level of swimming and capability an assessment will be arranged. If successful and we have space, this will be followed by a free trial session. It is important to note that as a competitive swimming club, we work on technique and stamina to help swimmers get ready for, and bring out the best in, our swimmers during competitions. Swimmers joining us need to be able to competently (without stopping) swim 25m in the 3 main strokes, front crawl, back and breaststroke.

Here are some common questions we often get asked and the answers about joining our club to assist you when considering joining the club:
This will depend on your competency as a swimmer. However, the average age for people to start competitive swimming is around 7 to 10 years old. Please remember that swimmers joining us need to be able to competently (without stopping) swim 25m in the 3 main strokes, front crawl, back and breaststroke.
After your trial session you will be contacted by us to let you know whether you have been successful. We will also let you know what club is appropriate for your current swimming abilities. If you decide that you would like to join, we will provide you with all the information to complete our membership pack. This information will include details such as the fees involved and the swimming kit you will need.
